Crypto candle bots
Median warm runtime for three credential-free crypto-bot workflows from 1K to 50K candles, checked fill by fill.

Warm runtime by candle count
Median wall-clock time for the complete credential-free backtest call. Lower is faster. Runtime uses a logarithmic scale.
Jesse has the lowest median in this local candle workload
Jesse has the lowest framework median at all three candle counts. Freqtrade becomes faster than Blankly at 50K candles. All three retain the same fills and account result.

Environment
- Apple M3, 8 logical cores, 24 GB RAM
- macOS 26.5.2, arm64
- CPython 3.11.8
- Blankly 1.18.25b0, Freqtrade 2026.8, Jesse 3.2.0
Procedure
- 1K, 10K, and 50K local one-minute candles
- Credential-free KeylessExchange
- One BTC, current-close fills, zero costs
- 2 warmups and 5 measured repetitions
- Every fill and final account balance checked
Scope
These are local keyless workflows. Each timing includes application and strategy setup, candle replay, orders, accounting, and result extraction. It excludes downloads, exchange credentials, live adapters, and user-interface startup.
Peak RSS was not measured consistently. Blankly, Freqtrade, and Jesse run in separate application environments using local candles and no credentials.
